Shout-Out

WHAT ARE TRIADS?

Triads are groups of three people of the same gender who make space to pursue Jesus and one another through Scripture, conversation, prayer, and simply sharing life together.

WHY TRIADS?

We all need real people in our lives who know us, encourage us, and walk alongside us.

We live in a time when we're more connected than ever, yet meaningful relationships can still be hard to find. And while church can create opportunities for people to meet, real relationships can't be programmed.

We weren’t made to follow Jesus—or navigate life—alone. Triads exist to help us move beyond simply being around people and intentionally build the kinds of relationships where we can know others, be known, and grow together.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

1. SIGN UP

Tell us a little bit about yourself and what you're looking for.

2. WE BUILD THE TRIADS

We’ll prayerfully match you with two other people we think you can grow alongside.

3. MEET EVERY 3 WEEKS

As a group, you'll find a time and place that works, and commit to meeting at least once every three weeks.

4. SEE WHAT GROWS

We believe God is always actively at work. As you keep showing up, pursuing Jesus and one another, we believe God will do amazing things.

FAQ

How long is the commitment?
Typical Triads run during the Ministry Year, which is from September to the end of May. If your Triad sticks to meeting once every three weeks, you will be committing to meeting 12 times.
Can our Triad meet more often than every three weeks?
Absolutely! Once every three weeks is the minimum, not the goal. If your Triad wants to meet more often, grab coffee, have dinner, text throughout the week, or simply spend time together hanging out, go for it! The hope is that these Triads become real friendships, not just meetings on the calendar.
Can I request someone for my Triad?
Yes! You can request someone you’d like to know better, learn from, or are already in a discipleship relationship with. Requests aren’t guaranteed, and we encourage you to be open to building relationships with people beyond your closest friends.
Do I need to know a lot about the Bible?
Not at all. You don’t need to have all (or any of) the answers. You don't even need to be at a particular place in your faith. We just ask that you come willing to read, ask questions, listen, and see where God grows you.
Is this a Bible Study or a replacement for Community Groups?
Neither. Scripture helps shape the conversations we have, but Triads are about sharing life and helping one another follow Jesus instead of working through a formal lesson.

Triads complement Community Groups by creating a smaller space for deeper personal connection.
Does someone lead the Triad?
Each Triad has a point person who helps everyone get started, stay connected, and receive information from Pastor Jesse. They aren’t the teacher or designated leader --  everyone will share responsibility for the Triad.
What if my Triad isn't a good fit or something changes?
Relationships take time, but you aren’t trapped in a Triad. Contact Pastor Jesse and we’ll help you work through concerns, navigate a difficult situation, or make a change when needed.

STILL HAVE QUESTIONS?

That's okay. You don't have to have everything figured out before signing up. If there's something you're wondering about, or you're not sure whether Triads are right for you, I'd be happy to talk.

JOIN A TRIAD

Is there someone you’d especially like to grow alongside in your Triad? (optional)

This could be someone you’re already in a discipleship relationship with or someone you’d value learning from. Rather than requesting a friend simply because you’re close, consider who could help you grow in your faith.

All requests will be considered, but we can’t guarantee placement together.
Would you be willing to be your Triad’s point person?

Help with your group's initial connection, pass on information from Pastor Jesse, and facilitate the first meeting (Pastor Jesse will provide training and support for this). No teaching, leading, or experience required.

Selecting 'Yes' lets us know you’re willing, but we cannot guarantee you’ll be assigned as the point person.
