321 | Fridays, May 1st - 22nd | 6-8pm
321 is a 4-week course that is designed to introduce people to Jesus and to look at God, the world and ourselves in light of Him. Our hope is that 321 will help anyone, whether Christian or not, to fall deeper in love with Jesus and for their hearts and lives to be changed. This course will give you the basics for understanding Christianity and give you the language for talking about Jesus to anyone, even if they've never stepped foot in a church. Dinner is included. Family Update Meeting
Thank you so much to all of the Journey Church family members who attended the update meeting this past Sunday! Over 90 family members heard a brief update of the church's finances and what the anticipated plan is moving forward. Did you miss the Family Update Meeting and are interested in seeing what was said? Did you attend the meeting but can't remember what some of the numbers were?

Kitchen Items Found
Did you donate some food items to an event at Journey Church and now can't find your serving dishes?
Stop by the kitchen on Sunday to see if your dishes are on the counter!! Any items not retrieved by May 1st will be donated.

Fun in the sun! Adventures on the water! New friends! Incredible growth! This is what Sun Lakes Summer Camp is all about!

Brown Bear Car Wash Tickets | High School Mission Team Fundraiser
Help our high school mission team raise the necessary funds to go serve the people of the Ahousaht First Nation AND get your car washed! Tickets are on sale now, $12 each ($10 of that goes to the mission trip). Stop by the table in the foyer on Sunday mornings!!
High School Senior Blessing | Thursday, May 7th | 7-9pm
Stand with us as we formally acknowledge that this year’s class of high school seniors has entered the adult community. This Rite of Passage event - The Blessing - is a lot like the baccalaureate services of the past, but we take time to bless each individual student and recognize how God is leading them into their adult lives. Join us for this semi-formal celebration (including a time of refreshments and greeting).

In January, I shared with a group from Journey Church in WA an amazing trip to assist in and learn from the ministry of the Débora House of Refuge. We were glad to help with restoring damaged ceilings and paint jobs after the rains from a year ago. Some of the group helped bring crafts and love to the children housed there, others taught relevant classes to help women consider possibilities of new vocations and to experience a “spa day”.
